Welcome to Min Guen's website, B&B at the town
of Trélévern, on the Pink Granite Coast, the
most beautiful part of Brittany's coast.

Welcome to us!

Hello, we are Hans and Manja , the Dutch owners of Min Guen.
Min Guen (meaning “White Stone” in the Breton language) is
an impressive farmhouse dating back to the second half of the 18th century, built in typical Brittany-style with a characteristic stalwart tower. 
Min Guen is surrounded by a beautiful sunny garden filled with many different plants and bushes, including of course hortensias – the flowers so typical to this region. 

Enjoy your stay in the renovated part of our house and have a daily delicious breakfast in the sunny garden.

At little distance  the beaches, picturesque villages, friendly restaurants and splendid touristic routes are waiting for you.

The cosy guest wing of Min Guen has its own seperate entrance with a terrace and plenty of space for parking bicycles or a car, so guests can enjoy their stay without being disturbed.
Facing the back of the house is a little shed, where you can find garden chairs, your bbq and a place to store your bikes comfortly.

Next to the guest-room is a spacious terrace, looking west, provided with comfortable garden chairs and a sun-shade.
You also can use the little barbecue, enabling you to enjoy your meal in the afternoon sun, if you prefer to stay around the house for a change.
But if you like to try one of the many restaurants in the region, you will be surprised to find a large choice, homely or fashionable, cheap or somewhat more expensive.
Each morning we do our best to invite the sun to your breakfast, so we can serve it in the garden. 
If it is too cool for that, we lay your table on the inside, in the dining area.

Trélévern

Min Guen is only a 10 minute walk from the town of Trélévern, where there is a small supermarket, a bakery shop, the post office and a very good pizzeria. The Pink Granite Coast and its various beautiful beaches are nearby, ready for sunbathing, swimming and other activities. 

The coast

The coast can be explored by car, along the Circuit des Ajoncs d'Or which passes by many pittoresque fisherman's towns, or on foot, along the Sentier des Douaniers (Customs Trail, a part of walking trail GR 34) which offers lovely views of the Brittany seaside.
For cyclists as well there is a variety of biking routes which lead through fascinating landscapes.
Restaurants offer a great variety of fresh  fish and other seafood, due to their closeness to the sea.

Golf addicts can pursue their favourite sport at the Saint Samson Golf Court,  only 15 minutes away, and enjoy overlooking the sea from there.

In the sitting room of our B&B you will find a file containing all kind of touristic information: castles, museums, childrens' activities, zoos, walking, biking, boat trips, cities, restaurants and many things more.

Near Min Guen we can recommend various lively ones, such as:

Perros-Guirec
Situated on the seaside, with a nice harbour downtown and a lively town centre uptown, loaded with shops and pubs. The two town parts are connected by a coastal road which leads along various splendid residences dating from the early 20th century, and offers magnificent views of the sea.

Lannion
Situated on the banks of the river Léguer, with an authentic town centre where every thursday a large market is held.

Tréguier
With an impressive cathedral and pretty narrow streets, where you can find many houses with beautiful timber framing.

Prices

The price of an overnight stay at Min Guen for two persons (including continental breakfast) is 79 euros in total. 
If needed, an extra bed for a child up to 4 years can be supplied, for an additional charge of 10 euros (including the extra breakfast). 
In july and august the minimum stay is 3 nights.
Want to take your dog with you to Min Guen? Please contact us before. His stay will cost 5 euros per night.
The use of WIFI is for free.
Min Guen’s guest wing is available from mid-June untill the mid-September
